David Walliams parted ways with book publisher.
Best-selling young adult author and comedian David Walliams has been dropped by his longtime publishing house, according to an announcement.
A spokesman for the company commented: "Upon deliberation, and with the guidance of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Media sources suggest that the move was made after an inquiry regarding allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable involving women.
The firm has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
An Illustrious Literary Career
Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, having sold in excess of 60 million copies globally in dozens of tongues.
His first children's book, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his books, including *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.
His bibliography includes in excess of 40 works altogether, including a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.

His career breakthrough occurred on the broadcast sketch program *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
